Gurt Lush Choir at the Cumberland Piazza
3.25pm at the Cumberland Piazza & 4.25pm under the Suspension Bridge Gurt Lush Choir was founded in October 2009. Within 2 years it grew to be one of the largest & most remarkable open-access choirs in the country. Another display supported by the Rotaty Club Bristol will feature Bikes4Africa a Rotary link partner formerly called Jolerider. They take old bikes and recycle them to kids in Africa to enable them to get to school. The follow-up to this will be a collection of unwanted bikes in almost any state of repair, in spring 2018. Brigstowe Village Band are an acoustic band modelled on the village band of Thomas Hardy’s day, when local musicians would play at all the local fetes, gatherings – weddings, seasonal celebrations fetes , etc. They have some 20 people in the band playing fiddle, accordion, guitar , banjo, autoharp,melodeon, trombone, trumpet , horn , bassoon and tuba.
