Gorge-ous goats walk

May 31, 2015 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

| Free

Search for the Avon Gorge goat herd, on a walk in the Gully, with Mandy Leivers (the Avon Gorge and Downs Biodiversity Education Officer).  Along the way, find out how these hairy conservationists are helping to save the Avon Gorge’s rare plants.
No need to book, simply meet at 3.00pm, at the Avon Gorge & Downs Wildlife Project mask making tent by the Great Quarry.
NB: There are steep slopes and uneven ground on this walk. Shoes or boots with good grips should be worn (folks wearing sandals or flip flops won’t be able to join us as it is very rocky). Sorry, this walk is unsuitable for pushchairs as they won’t fit through the kissing gate
